Green Energy
This is my entry for the 2008 Canon Photo5 competition using tea lights. The objective of this photo is to raise awareness on utilising green energy systems to help alleviate global warming problems. The challenge in this photo is how to combine the exposure, ISO, aperture, and shutter speed to come up with a good exposure shot under a limited amount of light emitted by the tea lights without having flares. I used green coloured tea lights in this photo to emphasize the aspect of “green” energy. The shot was taken at 1 second exposure using a 40D and 70-200mm f/4 L IS lens mounted on a tripod..
