Red Alert
Stumbled upon the below shot " Red Light " by shima1 in the Leica Noctilux F1.0 Photographs pool. I was inspired. I'm awed with the quality of photos in that group, the creative possibilites, the dreamy settings, the creamy bokeh the lens lets the photographer create. The closest possible lens for the Alpha system is the manual focus SR mount Minolta 50/58mm ƒ/1.2 MC Rokkor PG/X , which I've had for 2.5 months and am ready to convert to the Alpha mount. I can't wait, but I can't seem to find an guaranteed, fast and easy way to do the surgery. Personally I like the raspberry colour of the original shot below as opposed to my crimson. Candle was about 6" away from lens. Christmas lights about 4' away from lens..

Yay! Received my photo5 box from Canon today, and they even gave me a ribbon with it Turns out the ribbon is one of the items =\ Don't read on if you don't want your surprised ruined. The 5 Items are: Red Ribbon Bubbles Crayon Cocktail Umbrella Tealight (Small Candle) Hopefully I can get creative and win some Canon gear =] Isn't Canon just the best? The best....
