Christmas Eve with the Family (148/365)
Christmas Eve, for as long as I can remember, has been spent with my Dad's side of the family. When his parents were living, we would go to their house and spend time with one another, eat dinner (either turkey with the fixins or lasagna) and unwrap gifts. My parents began holding Christmas Eve festivities at our house shortly after Pappy and Grandma passed away. It's a nice tradition and generally a fairly relaxing day -- depending on whether or not the Steelers are playing. ;o) There were some miscommunications this year, but we still had a nice day. This is the centerpiece on one of our tables. I love that Mom could go out and cut fresh pine and pick up fresh pine cones to go on the table. It was a nice touch. :o).
