The Advent wreath is a Christian tradition that symbolizes the passage of the four weeks of Advent. It is usually a horizontal evergreen wreath with four candles. On the First Sunday of Advent, the first candle is lit. An additional candle is lit during each subsequent week until, by the last week before Christmas, all four candles are lit. This Christmas decoration follows a slightly different approach, while retaining the evergreen look, the candles and Christmas ornaments. It is one of my wife’s creations. She always adds beautiful seasonal decorations to our house and this is one of the most beautiful I have seen so far. It went together with a nice walk in the woods to gather the seeds and the moss used in this arrangement. I’m posting this today as it is lit for the second Sunday of Advent. This capture is for you guys that love the snow :-) We still have plenty here and we are about to get even more! This time I decided to upload one that was taken at night after shoveling my driveway. I liked the light and color in this one but it was very hard to get this very noisy capture rescued. The reason it was very noisy is that I underexposed it for some odd reason. Another major problem was the white balance. There were so many different light sources blended together. There was one particular light pole in front of the house that was casting harsh green hue all over this image but thanks to some CS3 I got it under control and looking very natural. "Global Warming" RULES!!! LOL... Global .... What??? :) ~Have a Wonderful Monday Everyone!~ © 2008 Igor Bor.
