picture of a feather Felt a little Pagan Altar and Chalice 2007-10-14
Felt a little mystical today, so I spent some time with my altar. My chalice is simple glass, but I found it on a day where I wasn't looking, and it suited me. I use bottles a lot when I do Work, and that one is one of my favourites. As you can see, my Altar is not a tidy space..

The Hobbit (from the 1977 animated film) I love that quote so much. In fact I love that movie, I know it's animated and for kids and all that, but it is really fabulous, charming, and enchanting. "As they sang the Hobbit felt the love of beautiful things made by hands and by cunning and by magic moving through him, a fierce and jealous love, the desire of the hearts of Dwarves." J.R.R. Tolkien.

picture of a feather ... just put Just begin ...
... just put down your thoughts, your joy, your pain, your ecstasy ... the essence of your soul. I invite my poet friends to write a poem to accompany this image or one of the others before, which were featuring these items. Because of two reasons: 1.) I feel that there should be poems to the pictures, but can't think of anything myself this time. 2.) I would love to see the words you come up with. :-))) View Large On Black.
