Colors & Colors
*Explored* @ my sister's Dholki this past weekend. Dholki is part of wedding festivities, mostly on the girl's side, where the girls sing songs and dance and what not. The centerpiece of all this is a playing instrument called dholki (derived from dholak ). Some one from the crowd plays the Dholki/instrument while others sing along or dance etc. Usually this Dholki festivity would also be part of the Mehndi night (which is usually the night of the wedding)..
