Nurse Hottie
Hattie was young and innocent and glad to be graduating the nursing program, but when she got her new uniform she was a little disappointed to discover that her name had been misspelled. She would come to be well known in the area as "Nurse Hottie", a nickname that the Nuns were not very fond of. (The original B&W photo, which is not mine, is on display at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington WV. Selective colors were added with Photoshop. The original photo's content was not changed except for the words "Nurse Hottie" were placed on her uniform. ).

I thought that after seven years the pain and sorrow I feel would lessen, but as I uploaded this photo and added tags, the tears came streaming down my face and my heart ached as I remembered that day. In remembrance of all whose lives were taken on September 11, 2001. I will never forget you. Peace and hope to all the world..
