Candle Reflections
I'm finally back after a busy 4th of July Weekend (went up to Lake Shasta for boating, swimming, water skiing, eating, etc) and then some friends from college were visiting. I apologize to any of my friends for not commenting on their photos for a few days. I took this photo after enjoying an amazingly delicious buffalo steak that my girlfriends father cooked (along with yummy mushrooms and salad). They always put on some background music and as we finished our dinner (and 2 really delish bottles of wine) we ended up sitting around the table listening to music for a couple hours. When the sun went down I noticed that the reflection of their candles on the glass table was absolutely beautiful. Eventually I excused myself for a moment, grabbed my camera from my car, and plopped the camera on the table and snapped away. Nikon D300s w/Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8 ED-IF AF-S: 32mm, f/14, 4 sec, ISO 250, Handheld (but steadied by laying the camera on the table and a Wireless Shutter.
