Gummy Bear 365 : Day 042 - September 11th, 2007
Day 42: Today was a really good day. :) Nothing really much to speak of mind you, just an overall good day. I decided to take the gummies out for awhile since it wasn’t too hot out. Let them climb on the patio ledge and that almost turned out to be a bad thing, but thankfully it didn’t. Nobody fell of the ledge and nobody really questioned, not that they can talk, but they didn’t wonder why there was a rabbit in the lantern. Confused? I will explain. During Easter people tend to buy a lot of different types of candy and I am no exception. I happen to enjoy Peeps. Yeah, most of you will go: ”Ewwwww...” Anyway, at the end of Easter I had Peeps left over and instead of keeping any candy around after the holiday (something I try to do with every holiday where there are left over sweets) I got rid of it all. Well... almost all of it. I kept one Blue Peep and decided to place him i.

The chocolate creme' brulee of heaven, I'm sure. The candle is because BELLA called the waiter aside as we ordered dessert, and said, "Can you bring my mommy a cake, because it is her birthday today." Thanks, Honey..

Chestnuts... (5/5)
...roastin on an open fire. Although no snow here, it is getting colder. Time for some raosted chestnuts. For SLW: Reflection : there is not much of a reflection to be seen on the chestnuts or candle holder here, but enough to get you the impression of candles and to set the mood. And although the main light source is a window on right, it has still that warm color effect. I like the reflection of candle light in this one, but I'm not that satisfied with the overall composition. Maybe the front is a bit too crowdy and the photo is a bit two-parted, brown in front, green in back. But at last it was a fun shot to get that Christmas feeling into the photo. And I couldn't resist to do it, because in the back the "Christmas Song" was playing: Chestnuts roasting on an open fire....
