candle decorationsSaturday, I went shopping with my mom and found these awesome cupcake things! The plates ($5.99 for all 4) and small candles ($4.99) came from Ross Dress for Less, and the blue candle ($1.88) came from Target (I finally found it!)

The centerpiece of all this is a playing instrument called dholki (derived from dholak ). Some one from the crowd plays the Dholki/instrument while others sing along or dance etc. Usually this Dholki festivity would also be part of the Mehndi night (which is usually the night of the wedding).
