decorating candleWhere do I start? The inspiration for this room came from one thing. The yellow fabric seen above. My mother saw it at the store and bought the whole thing. She didn't know what it would be used on, but she liked it so much she said she just couldn't leave it there. Next thing you know I get a vision and we are back in design mode after a several month hiatus from designing. This is the result. What do you think? BTW, I am an Interior Design student. :)

party decoratingThis was probably my favorite cake from my childhood. That was my barbie and I loved barbies. My my was a cake decorator, so she always made really nice cakes for us. I always enjoyed watching her make the roses. She was very good.
table decorating galleryI redid the shelf area a bit. I love the bust in the middle. There are 3 things I love to buy and could never have enough of and they are: busts, lamps, and pieces of coral. (yes I know the coral thing is tired, but I still love it.) BTW, I got the bust at Hobby Lobby for 3 bucks on sale (it was an ugly dark brown/grey color) and I spray painted it with White Laquer spray paint. I am so proud of it and my cheapness!
