Hope Shines September 11, 2001 - 2008
I thought that after seven years the pain and sorrow I feel would lessen, but as I uploaded this photo and added tags, the tears came streaming down my face and my heart ached as I remembered that day. In remembrance of all whose lives were taken on September 11, 2001. I will never forget you. Peace and hope to all the world..

HOPE.
When is enough enough? At what point does one give up hope? Times are hard right now for so many people. I hear from some that they are staying positive and optimistic, yet I know others are down-in-the-dumps and can't see a light at the end of the tunnel. Frankly, the side I fall on depends on the day. It's been a complicated year for me, one of the most, actually. This is true for many reasons, most of which I don't discuss. Still, I have nothing to really complain about. There are people in my life who inspire me to be my best, stay at my most positive, reach for the stars, and on bad days just the thought of them can help me get out of bed in the morning. Then there are those that seem to drag me down with their pessimism and defeatist attitude on the world. Sadly there are many more of the latter around me. "Will I get that job? Is this the right choice? Are we all going to be okay?" I can't help but have my doubts. Sadly, it gets to the point every once in.
