candle burning in the dark Tonight we had Happy Halloween Season Flickr!
Tonight we had our annual pumpkin carving and scary movie night, always so much fun! These were the results...well, that and full stomachs and fear of the dark from old school horror movies! This was taken with my dad's incredible new Nikon D80 DSLR...I am so vry, VERY jealous of him buying it! It was like I had died and gone to a photographic paradise when taking a few photos with the thing! So, whose is whose? Well, from left to right you have my younger brother Adam's, my younger sister Danielle's, my dad Tom's, and then mine on the far left. We were all fairly impressed with the results! This one is DEFINITELY BEST VIEWED LARGE, as the resolution is so high and yet so crystal clear!.

This shot was taken at Koh Samet, this is an island of the coast of Thailand. The locale youth comes together every night and give the tourists a fire show. These Fire Spinners are very tenanted and it a pleasure to watch them PLAYING WITH FIRE. Explore: #71.

As vezes pensamos num tema, buscamos a foto, mas ela não aparece! As vezes faz-se a foto, e depois trazemos o nome dela, assim como há vezes que a foto se constrói em segundos, e a sorte de ter a câmera nas mãos, no momento exato, não é algo fácil de acontecer! Há dias que construímos a imagem na cabeça, aí saímos por aí tentando achar a foto, mesmo nem sabendo onde ela possa estar! É a busca pela foto, onde cada um visualiza de um jeito, e age de forma diferente... A mente de um fotógrafo vive de imagens, trabalha antes, durante e depois da foto, ou então fotografar é somente apertar um ou outro botão! Tive várias oportunidades de fotografar o tema Uma luz na escuridão... , mas ou eu estava sem a câmera, ou não dava tempo de clicar, ou talvez não fosse a foto exata! Aí pensei: uma dia a dita-cuja aparece, pois quando eu construo um tema, um título, essas coisas, geralmente é assim que funciona! Onde eu estava, haviam velas no chão, iluminando.
